Well, one lovely lady found her Swedish prince and, like the story goes, they fell in love and are currently living happily ever after. But wait..let's back up a little...honestly, who can really even think of living happily ever after without having some cake first??? This bride honored her new husband's heritage by incorporating some Swedish traditions, such as bypassing the typical round table setup for the more traditional horseshoe table setup. Many speeches and toasts were made! For dessert, a uniquely, delectable Swedish confection was served...the Swedish Princess cake... a little dome shaped sponge cake, layered with raspberry jam, custard and whipped cream which is then covered with marzipan (teal was chosen to coordinate with the bridesmaids dresses).
